I have downloaded data on Origin and Destination Survey (DB1B) from The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) under United States Department of Transportation (www.transtat.bts.gov) for the first quarter of 2015. The Airline Origin and Destination Survey (DB1B) is a 10% sample of airline tickets from reporting carriers collected by the Office of Airline Information of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Data includes origin, destination and other itinerary details of passengers transported. This database is used to determine air traffic patterns, air carrier market shares and passenger flows. Nominal scale: Two of the variables that measured in nominal scale are ‘OriginStateName’ and ‘RoundTrip’. The former one obviously the name of the state from where the associated itinerary departed and the later one is a variable contains yes/no answer that coded as 1/0.
